Do you have the right fire extinguisher at home or in your workplace?

Water Extinguishers: Ideal for paper, wood, and textiles. Remember, water and electricity don't mix, so don’t use these on electrical fires!

Foam Extinguishers: Versatile and effective against both liquid (like paint or petrol) and solid fires. Not recommended for kitchen fires or those involving electricity.

Dry Powder Extinguishers Great all-rounders, especially for mixed fire risk environments and flammable gases.
Note: Powder can impair vision and isn't ideal for enclosed spaces.

CO2 Extinguishers: Perfect for electrical fires and flammable liquids. These are common in offices with lots of electrical equipment.

Wet Chemical Extinguishers: Specifically designed for cooking oil and fat fires, making them a must-have in kitchens.
