The company was formed by Imtiaz Lalji (Chairman & MD) in the beginning of the year 2005. Our huge volumes of sales to these airlines ensure us of their most competitive fares available in the market. We negotiate discount contracts on behalf of our clients with all major airlines operating in Tanzania. Travel Link is equipped with the most modern and state of the art computerized online reservation system. We preferentially use the Galileo by Travel Port GDS system which holds the most significant airline inventories ensuring us of easy bookings on any airline operating in any of the world.

In order to reach out to clients we have established a network of branches. Besides our head office in Dar es Salaam city centre, we have established branch offices in Kariakoo area and the airport Terminal 2 in Dar es Salaam. We have well set office in Arusha, which also handles our safari division. Soon we are going to open up our branch offices in Mwanza and Zanzibar. Our aim is to have solid presence in all major cities and towns in Tanzania and across East Africa.

We are authorized agents for all the domestics and international airlines operating into and out of Tanzania. And through these airlines and other affiliate agents we are also able to make reservations and issue tickets for airline that are operating outside the country; in any part of the world.

Our office is equipped with modern and state of the art computerized Galileo Reservation System which enables us to book any flight anywhere in the world. If need be we can even arrange for PTAs in the case where ticket has to be issued in Tanzania but passenger has to travel from another country.

International Holiday Packages

Travel Link through its network of international affiliate agents sell customized packages of different destinations worldwide; packages include that of Europe, Middle East, Asia and other African Countries. Duration of these packages range from 3 days to 14 days and can be booked and paid for in Tanzania.

Worldwide Hotel Reservations

Travel Link has the capacity of booking hotels in any city in the world. We also offer choices ranging from 2 Stars to 5 Stars and allow our clients to choose based on their taste and budget. We are also authorized agents for most hotels and lodges in Tanzania and Zanzibar. We are in a position to make reservations and offer room rates which are usually cheaper than the rack rates and corporate discounted rates offered by the hotels and lodges themselves.

Airport Transfers / Car Hire

A lot of our corporate clients use us to transfers their delegates to and from the airports and hotels. Through our car hire contacts we can arrange vehicles which are in good condition for transfers and other car hire requirements in Dar es Salaam and up the country also.

Visa Processing

Travelling to other countries usually requires Visa. Embassies in Dar es Salaam have allowed us to process Visa on behalf of our clients. Travel Insurance

A variety of travel related insurance covers are now available in the market. These include covers for baggage damage, baggage loss, injuries, deaths, flights delays etc. Covers are available from 7 days up to one year duration.
